Use a cloth measuring tape for the right fit!

Always Measure with a Cloth Measuring Tape!
Taking your measurements is easy with a cloth measuring tape and good posture. Make sure that the tape lays flat, and that the area you're measuring is in natural position.

Use a cloth measuring tape for the right fit!

* Chest: With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape level and parallel to the floor arund both the chest and ribcage.
* Neck: Measure a shirt collar that fits you well. Button the collar and place the tape's starting point behind the button. Wrap the tape all the way around the inside of the collar until until it meets its starting point.
* Sleeve Length: With your arms relaxed at your side and slightly bent, measure from the center back of your neck, over the point of your shoulder, and down the outside of your arm to your wrist.
*  Waist: To measure your natural waistline, wrap the tape so it intersects your navel. Keep tape flat, but comfortably loose.
* Inseam: Use a pair of similar pants that fit you well. Lay them flat on the ground with the side seam facing up. Use your hands to smooth and straighten front and back creases. Then measure the length of the inside seam from the crotch to the bottom of the hem.

Chaps are very easy to size. Since the waist is adjustable, only the thigh measurement is needed or asked for. Here are simple, step by step instructions using a cloth tape measure:

1. Wear the pants you expect to be wearing when riding, like jeans.
2. Sit down when measuring since your thigh will expand when sitting, (like on the bike).
3. Measure a thigh where the top of the chaps will set, roughly about 2-4 inches below
your crotch. Do not pull the tape tight or this will cause you to record too small a number.
4. Take the measurement up to the nearest whole inch.

Congratulations, this is your size! Just ask for that size when ordering. Chaps can be cut to length. See instructions below.

Very Important!

Chaps That Have Been Cut Can Not Be Returned Nor Exchanged!!

The legs can be cut off to the desirable length, with very sharp sissors, only after careful measuring. Wear the boots or shoes you plan to wear with your chaps when you measure where to cut. Sit down, see where the chaps hit your boot to be sure they are not too short!

Average length before cutting is:  33 1/2" -- 34"

1: How is a helmet supposed to fit my head ?

In order for a ZOX helmet to protect properly and be the most comfortable the helmet must be a SNUG fit, it must be sized to your head correctly. The best way to check sizing is to put the helmet on and see that the helmet feels snug equally all around your head. The helmet should not feel too tight or too loose at any particular point around your head.

Use the following chart to find the correct helmet size for your head. Please remember that all head shapes are slightly different and the sizing chart is to be used as a starting guide or reference helping you to fit the correct helmet size to your head.

Measure the head circumference one inch above the eyebrows and ears, then use this chart to find your approximate size.

  Please Note:
Correct fitting apparel should provide protection and comfort; all helmets, leathers, jackets, gloves, boots, shoes and other safety gear only work as intended if sized properly.
